This is a summary of walks and visits that I have been on, or regularly go on.
Walks usually have some hill, little traffic, or are easy to get to.
With a bit of luck, they will also be interesting in some way.
The Lickey Hills, home of the Lickey Hills Country Park is my most common destination. Not only is it relatively close and easy to get to, it also has many interesting aspects: The site of a WW2 listening post and anti-aircraft gun battery, the place where  J R Tolkien often walked in his youth, and the Cadbury brothers’ Toposcope, to name but a few,
